Where Words and Art Are Sisters
Our names are Chesslyn Wright and Gwenyth Ernst, formally known as Chess & Gwen, and we are a writer-artist duo who happen to be sisters. Since January 2017, we have been working tirelessly on our original graphic novel series The Bohemian Trials, and today, we are actively striving to get the first volume published and in your hands. You can read a brief summary of our series in the next section below!

The World of Behemoths
Disregard everything you know about superhumans, as this is not a story
that tells of overpowered characters, surface-level conflicts, and never-ending universes. Instead, step into a world that is a brutally honest reflection of our own. In the run-down home city of our leading cast, the streets bustle with people who have grown apathetic to rampant crime and have long adapted to the views of concrete plastered with propaganda and spray paint. Among them is Lya Reese, keeping her eyes to the ground because she, along with 15 percent of the global population, is a behemoth—the infamous term for superhumans.
Behemoths are actively suppressed by the rest of society due to their supposed genetic advantage, but this does not waver Lya’s strict, self-established moral code. Guised in slapdash vigilante garb, she and her five friends counterintuitively strive to protect the very people who seek to oppress them. However, amidst yet another night of stopping crime, something shifts everything that Lya has ever known to be true, and thus the story of The Bohemian Trials begins.
