The Bohemian Trials: Volume One is available now!

Gwenyth “Gwen” Ernst is a sister-in-Christ, and her heart is filled with the Lord, her family, and friends. She is the middle child among her siblings, and has been involved with art since she first colored with crayon. She prefers to spend her free time studying God’s word, playing video games, and reading manga. She loves gooey brownies, snuggling her cat, and dark attire.
Gwen is the illustrator of The Bohemian Trials and the artist behind all of the duo’s merchandise. From the very first time she drew in her toddler years, Gwen swiftly fell in love with art, and in turn, she has spent her entire life honing in on her craft. During those early years, it became transparently clear that she had a gift that would, with much dedication and training, go incredibly far, and the fruits of her pursuit have only proven so. By the time she was eleven years old, she realized that she could adapt similar styles to those found in the various anime that she grew up with, which would then mold into her unique, intricately detailed art style that Chess and Gwen’s readership appreciates today—a style that has changed much since the first image Gwen created of the main team at only fourteen years old.
While Gwen is an illustrator, her abilities in the arts branch beyond graphic literature. She has crafted with realism art that is equally as beautiful as her cartoony style, while also having done work with comic book covers and variants, animations, and Vtuber models.
